Four partners, all wine lovers with a strong background in producing
quality grapes, started "Casa de la Ermita" project in the Jumilla
area which has particularly old vineyards, producing high quality
wines. Casa de la Ermita vineyards and cellar are close to the
regional park "El Carche", which is a beautiful and colorful
piece of nature.
ORGANICS VINEYARDS. Casa de la Ermita respect all community
laws in the environment of European Union in order to regulate
organic vineyards. No chemical products are used in the cultivation
process or in parasitical treatment. Only natural products are
used in the fertilization of vineyards. Casa de la Ermita have
the first organic wine elaborated at "Region de Murcia" thank
to organic vineyards that accomplice organic agriculture's norms
and lex since five years.
The principal variety in Casa de la Ermita is the Monastrell
(a.k.a. Mourvedre). Wines made with Monastrell are surprising
all wine critics and specialist, and such principal variety
with help of complementary varieties give to the wines a quality
and differentiating base.
Talented enologist of Casa de la Ermita permanently
investigates to improve existing wines and adapts varieties
from other geographical zones such as Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot,
Syrah, Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and Viognier.
Casa de la Ermita cellar has a total of 4.200
oak barrels with 225 liters of capacity each one to make aged
wine. Also they have installed three pneumatic presses, equipment
to freeze, bottler with capacity for 1500 bottles per hour.

The color of the wine is cherry
red, nearly garnet, well covered. The bouquet of the wine is full
with vanilla aromas, well ensambled with the ripe fruit. The taste
of the wine is full-bodied, silky and broad with a persistent
and long after-taste with smooth balsamic flavors.

The color of the wine is ripe cherries
core with tawny rim. The bouquet of the wine is full of low forest
notes, aromatic and balsamic plants, dried fruits sensations.
The taste of the wine is full, flavorful and with sweet tannins.
Fleshy and plenty, long aftertaste.

The color of the wine is deep cherry,
with medium-high intensity, nice slightly orange rim. The bouquet
of the wine is complex, it has balsamic notes and remembers chocolate,
vanilla, caramel and spices. The taste of the wine is wide, warm,
deep and fruity, plenty of sensations, and it has flavors of ripe
plum and raisin.

The color of the wine is garnet
red, well covered and well defined layers, fine borders. The bouquet
of the wine is explosion of silvester fruits, currant, and spicy
notes, with a toasted note in the depth. The taste of the wine
is silky and has velvet textures, with smooth and long tannins.

The color of the wine is nice cherry,
medium-high intensity core. The bouquet of the wine is balsamic
and fresh, with light oak notes. The taste of the wine is warm
with lightly toasted flavors and long aftertaste. Ageing of the
wine: ten months into French and American oak barrels.

The color of the wine is deep and
intense purple, with violet rims. The bouquet of the wine - aromas
of cedar, plum and fleshy blackberries and a light flowers sensation.
The taste of the wine is smooth, followed by a round, fresh and
complex tannic structure, finish with a long and intense aftertaste.
