Wine - red,
white or rose from Languedoc, France!

From the family enterprise to second in the world.
In 1949, the creation of the company Castel Freres, installed in cellars near the Medoc in Bordeaux, prepared the terrain for an aggressive strategy whose ingredients are based on the control of all the mechanisms of the wine sector.
Today, Castel operates at the same time as owner, grower, harvester, wine-maker; bottler, dealer and distributor, and draws from exceptional experience and know-how to consolidate its position as market leader in France and abroad.
This gives Castel a unique production, selection, purchasing and commercialisation capacity, and strong reactivity with respect to its clients, as much in its own brands as in reserved brands and distributors.
This exemplary success has been built around values such as simplicity, perseverance and listening to the client.
Let CASTEL help you discover the diversity of French wines and soils as simply as possible: from typical varietal wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon region to the high-quality Appellation d'Origine Controlee wines that have made French wine famous all over the world.
CASTEL wines are very smooth and highly aromatic, with accentuated fruity flavours. To obtain the highest quality white wines, the grapes are harvested at night. They are placed in the hopper and immediately chilled and pressed, to avoid any risk of oxidation.
Fermentation then takes place at a low temperature to extract maximum fruit aromas. Red grape varieties undergo cold maceration before fermentation, to enable enhanced extraction and obtain concentrated, very fruity, very colourful wines.
CASTEL, a name synonymous with quality over the whole range!
